INVISALIGN

Invisalign is an exciting new dental technology that straightens your teeth with a series of clear, customized, removable aligners.

INVISALIGN TEEN

Invisalign Teen uses the same Invisalign technology as adult aligners, moving teeth gradually with each set of clear, comfortable plastic aligners. But because teens (and their mouths) are constantly on the move, we’ve added a few special features.

Blue wear-indicators fade from blue to clear to help your teen gauge wear time
Designed to compensate for the growth of new teeth and molars.

Best of all, Invisalign Teen works. So teens can smile with confidence and parents can, too.

Braces

How do Braces Straighten Crooked Teeth?

Braces use constant, gentle pressure, which over time, move teeth into their proper positions.

Do Braces Hurt?

One of the most commonly asked questions about dental braces is whether placing them causes any pain or discomfort.

What to expect when getting braces?

Here is an overview of what you can expect when getting braces:

Placement day – The placement of braces will not be painful in the slightest.

Two days after placement – The first several days after placement of braces can be slightly uncomfortable.

Five days after placement – After five days, any initial discomfort associated with the braces should be completely gone.

Orthodontic appointments – Regular orthodontic appointments are necessary to allow the orthodontist to change the archwire, change the rubber or metal ties, and make adjustments to the braces.

Dealing with discomfort – Over-the-counter pain medication and orthodontic relief wax will help alleviate any mild soreness and discomfort following placement of braces and orthodontic adjustments.  Another effective remedy is to chew sugar-free gum, as this increases blood flow which helps reduces discomfort and can also encourage the teeth to align quicker.
